LoanOps / Accounting & Analyst
Nicole Uy Ilano is part of the LoanOps team at KCG, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines, having passed the 2015 licensure examination. She graduated from Holy Name University, a catholic school based in Bohol, Philippines. She has been practicing Data Analytics since 2021 with background on handling big data and data visualizations. She has worked with multiple clients, both local and international, rendering services such as Financial Statement reporting, internal audit, taxation, and other management-specific reports. With her 9 years of professional working experience, Nicole has played various roles in Loans Servicing, Accounting, and Academe, being able to teach university subjects.
It's not all work for Nicole, though. She also has that fun side of her. Nicole loves to trek and also loves to go for dives to collect sea urchins (where uni, a unique ocean delicacy, comes from). She is musically inclined and also sings for local bands called 90° and 6-String Era. Together with her father and a few other youth leaders, they have founded in 2021 a youth-lead environmental organization called Kabatan-onan Alang Sa Kinaiyahan (KASKi). The name could be translated in English as Youth for The Environment. The group has been active ever since its inception, being able to gather at most 400+ volunteers in one of its activities.
In terms of work and life in general, Nicole is not afraid to try out something new and loves the idea of exploring unfamiliar horizons and thinking out of the box. She believes that life needs to be explored while maintaining a balance with work, family, having fun, and making the most out of life.
